0.95mm Steel-backed Photopolymer Plates are one of the thinnest and hardest plates that we manufacture. The steel backing makes this very easy to mount onto any magnetic base. Description

The 0.95mm Steel-backed Photopolymer Plate has one of the smallest reliefs compared to other letterpress printing plates. The magnetic backing makes it easy to mount it to a printing machine with a magnetic base without the need for glue or tape. It is also one of the hardest photopolymer plates available with a very high shore hardness of 90.

It produces a very high-quality print due to this hardness. This product usually has around 0.5mm relief. Despite this thin relief, it can still produce a deep emboss/deboss into your substrate. This photopolymer plate works best for small artworks as the metal backing gives the product a tendency to curl especially with larger plates.

This product can:

  • be Wood-mounted to type Type Height (23.32mm)
  • have Holes Drilled /Countersunk
  • have Centres Removed for Rosettes
