The 16 Gauge Magnesium Plate is the thinnest Magnesium product that we offer at 1.63mm. Nevertheless, it still offers an incredibly high-quality print. That also makes it the most cost-effective metal option. Consequently, this is especially useful for short print runs. This product offers a beautifully crisp print for the customer who appreciates more traditional methods and is ideal for printing onto hard substrates.
We usually etch around 0.8-1mm which leaves a backing of up to 0.63mm. However, we can increase or reduce the etch depth to fit your requirements. Take care when removing them from your machine as they can easily bend due to the thin backing.
16 Gauge Plates can:
- Be cut to a specific requested size
- Be Wood-mounted to Type Height (23.32mm, 0.918″)
- Have Drilled/Countersunk Holes
- Have Centres Removed for Rosettes
