8 Gauge Magnesium Plate (4mm)

Description

The 4mm 8 Gauge plate is the middle thickness in our magnesium range. This allows for a deep etch of around 2-3mm resulting in a sturdy backing. Consequently, the plate can stand up to repeated removals from the press without bending. This results in a long-lasting plate. The plate offers a beautiful, high-quality print on a wide range of substrates and printing processes.

This product is sturdier than the thin 16 Gauge plate whilst still staying cost-effective for smaller print jobs. For this reason, the 8 Gauge Magnesium plate is the product we would recommend to new customers. It is well-suited to printing onto leather whilst still being thin enough to be used to print on hard substrates.

This product can:

• Be wood-mounted to Type Height (23.32mm)
• Have drilled/countersunk holes
• Have Centres Removed for Rosettes
